Emily began working at Camp Natoma in 2004 as a lifeguard and counselor while attending University of California, San Diego, where she earned a BS in Environmental Systems. Captain of the Women's Swim team, and a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), she has a California teaching credential and a Masters in Education, with an emphasis on children and nature. She taught 5th and 6th grades in local schools before assuming her position as Camp Director. Now Executive Director for Friends of Camp Natoma, Emily is committed to preserving and developing the Camp Natoma experience for youth into the future.











Robbie is our versatile do-it-all guy. Robbie began working at Camp Natoma in 2005 as a nature instructor and counselor while attending University of California, Santa Barbara, where he earned a BS in Zoology. He went on to obtain teaching credentials at Cal Poly, SLO and taught Environmental Science, Biology and Chemistry in local schools. Robbie supervises facility operations, enjoys training and supporting seasonal staff, manages programs, transportation and safety, directs custom user groups, and loves connecting community volunteers to camp projects year-round.




Miranda greets everyone with her warm smile and joy for inspiring youth. Miranda began working at Camp Natoma in 2002 as an archery instructor and counselor.  She currently runs the high school Counselor-in-Training leadership development program. Miranda has a deep passion for working with children; she was a paraeducator in local schools for 15 years. Miranda keeps Natoma's most important traditions and songs alive for kids today. Now Director of Programs, she influences every part of camp. Miranda loves keeping CITs and families connected to Natoma year-round from across the county.
