Emily shares the joys of nature, outdoor activites, and the caring community of summer camp everywhere she goes. 

Emily began working at Camp Natoma in 2004 as a lifeguard and counselor while attending University of California, San Diego. In San Diego, Emily earned a BS in Environmental Systems. Following her undergraduate studies she traveled to New Zealand to complete a NOLS outdoor leadership training program. Committed to sharing the natural world with youth, Emily conintued her studies to obtain a California teaching credential, for elementary grades and sciences, and Masters in Education with an emphasis on children and nature. She taught 5th and 6th grades in local schools for five years before assuming year-round leadership for Camp Natoma.












Robbie is our versatile do-it-all guy. Robbie began working at Camp Natoma in 2005 as a nature instructor and counselor while attending University of California, Santa Barbara. He earned a BS in Zoology and then attended Cal Poly to aquire a high school science teaching credential, specializing in AP Biology, Chemistry and Environmental Science. Now, Robbie makes all kinds of things happen at camp - he drives the camp bus, supervises facility operations, organizes camp-wide programs, and supports seasonal staff.

Robbie is a graduate of Camp Natoma's high school leadership program.




Miranda greets everyone with her warm smile and joy for inspiring youth. Miranda began working at Camp Natoma in 2002 as an archery instructor and counselor.  She currently runs the high school Counselor-in-Training leadership development program. During the school year, Miranda guides students with special needs.
