Campsites: Every year, volunteers reclaim the camping areas and bumpy dirt road into camp, spending hundreds of hours weed wacking, brush clearing, tree trimming, road grading, managing drainage and any other damage caused by winter storms. There is an ongoing need for financial support specifically for campsites and road maintenance. A facilities donation will help campers access and enjoy the beauty of Camp Natoma this summer!
Water System: Camp Natoma’s unique water system requires hours of maintenance each spring, maintaining miles of pipes running from the camp springs and all around camp. The water system at Camp Natoma is one-of-a-kind, and our one-of-a-kind maintenance team makes sure it is running so that camp can happen each year. This critical piece of infrastructure requires a significant amount of time and money to stay functional. A facilities donation will give the gift of delicious mountain spring water to Camp Natoma campers!
Pool Pump: What would happen if the pump at the pool gave out on some sunny day in July? As with all mechanical equipment, this is inevitable, so we need to purchase the next pool pump now before the current pump requires replacing. Without a backup pump, it may take weeks to order and install a new pump and parts, and after only 3 days the Camp Natoma pool starts looking very green, much like the slide! What’s a hot week at camp without the swimming pool to jump in and cool off? A facilities donation will make sure the pool stays open all summer!
